How to Reach the Korok Forest in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

The Korok Forest is one of the locations in Hyrule where Koroks peacefully live, and it is also the place where Link first got his Master Sword. Because of the upheaval, the larger woods surrounding it have been engulfed by darkness, making it almost impossible to get through. But there is still a way to reach the forest, and Link will have to venture into the depths for it.

Read ahead as we go through the steps on how to reach the Korok Forest in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

    Korok Forest Location

The Korok Forest is situated north of Hyrule Castle and is also surrounded by the dense Lost Woods. The Lost Woods itself is hard to navigate through, sending lost adventures back to the start if they take a wrong turn. The darkness that surrounds the Lost Wood has also made it impossible to get through.

Tears of the Kingdom Korok Forest – How to get through the Lost Woods

Instead of going through the Lost Woods, you will need to go underground into the Depths, where there is a location right underneath the Korok Forest that you can travel from.

One of the closest chasms that you can go down into is the Minshi Woods Chasm at 1043, 1663, 0157 which is quite close to the entrance to the Lost Woods and a chasm that you most likely will pass if you go on foot from the Castle.

From the Minshi Grove, simply make your way northwest from your location. Be careful, as there are lots of gloom puddles on the path that you’ll be taking, and there is a puddle where Gloom Hands spawn, so try to go around the puddles as much as you can.

You will know that you’re getting close if you see three Lightroots that are almost close to one another. Near the Rikonasum Lightroot at 0406, 2133, -0592 is a structure with nothing but a ceiling. Its coordinates are 0436, 2094, -0588.

Go into the middle of the structure and use Ascend to go to the very top. You will pop out right in the middle of the Korok Forest, quite close to where the Master Sword was placed in the first game. There is also the Musanokir Shrine nearby that you can use as a fast travel point to the area.

That’s How to Reach the Korok Forest in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. We hope this guide was informative. Learn more about Tears of the Kingdom from our other articles here.
