How to Fast Travel in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

Fast Travel is a feature that is still present in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This time, fast traveling is done with the help of the Purah Pad that Princess Zelda left for Link. With how expansive the new map is, which has grown not only up in the air but also down under the ground, having the ability to fast travel will help speed the journey up.

Read on to learn how to unlock Fast Travel in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

How to Unlock Fast Travel in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

You can unlock fast travel in Tears of the Kingdom after completing the first three shrines in the Great Sky Islands: Gutanbac Shrine, In-Isa Shrine, and Ukouh Shrine. Completing each shrine will give Link a new ability and the Light of Blessing.

After completing the three shrines, Link must open the door inside the Temple of Time. However, Rauru will appear to tell Link that he can’t open the doors until he visits the fourth shrine. From here on, Rauru will unlock fast travel, which allows Link to go to any visited shrines, Skyview Tower, and Lightroots.

You can also give Link better fast travel options without any limitations by unlocking the Travel Medallion found inside a chest by going to the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab located on the map below:
