The recent 1-shot Resident Evil 2 demo was launched and several players have already finished it. Some eagle-eyed fans might have found out some very important information about the full game. Potential spoilers ahead, so be warned.
Resident Evil 2 leak details
According to the leak that was revealed just recently, there are several unannounced features in the game. It was viewed on the Steam demo’s EXE in a HEX editor. It revealed first that there are actually different modes in the game. Aside from playing Leon S. Kennedy or Claire Redfield in one playthrough, there might be some B scenarios from the previous games. There could be an Ada Wong scenario as well and the fourth survivor and To-fu survivor too.
The leak revealed there might be a mode called Rogue. There are no specific or official details about the mode, but it said that it has certain variables like enemy kills, results screens, and a shop.
There are some map areas, weapons and bosses too. The most interesting part though is the information that comes from the character information. It is said that these individuals might have unique characteristics compared to the other NPCs in the game.
These characters are Chris Redfield, and Ethan Winters from Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.
The game will launch on Jan. 25. It will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
