With December coming up, Valve is set to include the “Monkey King” to its line up of playable hero characters. First announced  after the end of The International 2016, Monkey King or “Sun Wukong”, as his name goes,  has his abilities/class left uncertain at the moment.

We can only wait for the December update to know for sure. Though one could assume Sun Wukong to be of an agility class, as seen in the trailer below.

Here are a list of his abilities from DOTA 6.80 beta . (It is still unclear if these abilities will be available upon release.)

    Echo Sweep:
Monkey King unleashes his spirit and sweeps the ground, dealing damage and striking all foes with a single attack from an illusion.
    Cast Animation: 0.3+0.51
    Cast Range: ?
    Radius: 350
    Base Damage: 100/150/200/250
    Illusion Damage Dealt: 33%
    Notes:
Hits each enemy in the radius once with an illusion.
Illusions are uncontrollable and untargetable and vanish after attacking.
Disjoints projectiles and cancels commands targeting Monkey King and all his illusions.
Affects all enemies around Monkey King and his illusions.
An enemy can only be hit once per cast.

    Flicker:
Performs a quick dash, leaving behind a trail of illusions to attack anyone in your wake.
    Cast Animation: 0.3+0.51
    Cast Range: 600
    Radius: 275
    Damage: 40/80/120/160
    Illusion Damage Dealt: 33%
    Move Speed Slow: 20%/25%/30%/35%
    Duration: 2
    Notes:
Monkey King travels with a speed of 750.
Creates one illusion after every 100 range travel, resulting in up to 6 possible illusions.
Illusions are uncontrollable and untargetable and vanish after attacking.
Cannot travel over cliffs or trees.

    Nimble Nimbus:
Monkey King and his illusions have a chance to vault over their target on each hit, swapping positions. Enemies are spun facing away from Monkey King after the flip, while he is turned to their back.
    Proc Chance: 10%/15%/20%/25%
    Bonus Damage: 20/30/40/50
    Turn Speed Slow: 80%
    Slow Duration: 1
    Notes:
Does not swap positions with non-hero units, but still spins them.

    Cloud Dance:
Target hero becomes immobilized as Monkey King performs a sky high somersault off a cloud, then crashes back down surrounding his target with three illusions on all four sides.
    Cast Animation: 0.3+0.51
    Channel Time: 1
    Cast Range: 500
    Illusion Damage Dealt: 33%
    Illusion Damage Taken: 200%
    Duration: 3/4/5
    Notes:
Monkey King is invulnerable as he performs his somersault.
Roots the affected target, so it can still turn, cast spells, use items and attack.
Disables the following spells: Blink, Blink, Teleportation, Charge of Darkness, Phase Shift, Tricks of the Trade and Blink Dagger.
Interrupts channeling spells of the target upon ensnaring, but affected units can channel spells during it.
Reveals invisible units for the duration.
Illusions are uncontrollable and only attack the target, and vanish if the target dies.
The real Monkey King lands randomly on one of the four sides.
