After that full-length unorthodox and confusing trailer at The Game Awards 2017 of Hideo Kojima’s upcoming Death Stranding, everyone was left with a shock and a puzzled face.
Kojima is known for his weird yet compelling stories in video-games especially with the Metal Gear Solid franchise. In an interview with Dengeki PlayStation, translated by Gematsu, the famous game developer told the publication that there will be another surprise in 2018.
“Development on Death Stranding is going well enough that Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) told us: ‘We have never seen a game being created at such a fast pace.’,“ said Kojima. “We are planning an announcement that will further surprise everyone in 2018.“
This may be another glimpse into the game’s world and possibly its story thus probably giving a launch date (hopefully!).
Death Stranding is being developed by Kojima Productions and will launch exclusively on the PS4.
