PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds reaches 5 million players

The battle royale genre definitely has tons of competitors and Fortnite seems to be doing well this time around. On the other hand, PUBG is doing great as well with the Xbox One platform alone getting passed 5 million players. The game is a superstar on the console platform right now.

Way back in December last year, the game was launched on Xbox One. On its first two days, it garnered 1 million players right away and 3 million at the start of January. By the end of the same month, it ballooned into 4 million players.
