In a few weeks, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will be released on the major consoles. With multiple characters from the Sonic and other SEGA IP titles, this game is surely gonna be one of the most intense racing games developed by SEGA. Recently, SEGA announced on the Twitter post of Sonic the Hedgehog that a demo version of the game will be released soon.
According to the Twitter post above, Sonic Racing CrossWorlds will have a free demo on September 17, 2025, at 12:01 AM ET/ September 18, 12:00 PM PHT. The demo will launch on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC via Steam, and Epic Games Store. The demo will not support both the PlayStation 4, and the Xbox One.
Sonic Racing: Crossworlds will launch on September 25, 2025, for the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC Via Steam. Pre-order the game and get the Digital Deluxe edition to get additional contents which include new characters that will appear soon in future updates.
