Mario Tennis Aces Upcoming Update Will Weaken Character With High Defense

Game company Nintendo recently revealed that an upcoming update for Mario Tennis Aces will finally weaken a highly defensive character in the game.

Mario Tennis Aces update nerfs Bowser Jr.

One of the most defensive characters in the game is Bowser Jr. and it is incredibly difficult to fight against this character in online tournament. With the latest update, Bowser Jr.’s defensive will be nerfed to bring balance to the game again.

The patch will launch this coming July 19. It will weaken Bowser Jr. by making him slower as he charges shots and lowering the angle at which he hits the ball back. Nintendo added that they will continue to nerf the character in time for the August tournament. Players will expect another update before the month is over.

Balancing update included

Aside from Bowser Jr.’s nerf, Nintendo also stated that a balancing update will be included as well for all characters. It will increase how much energy is used when a Trick Shot is late. Those players who continually span trick shots will have to deal with a lot of risk of losing a lot of energy.
