Game developer Asobo Studio and publisher Focus Home Interactive recently announced that the video game A Plague Tale: Innocence has hit a major milestone.

The acclaimed dark adventure video game has now reached a milestone of one million copies sold worldwide. It has been featured in many critics’ Best of 2019 lists, and was nominated at The Game Awards for Best Narrative.

Chief Creative Office and Co-Founder of Asobo Studio David Dedeine announced:

Every day more and more players are discovering the story of Amicia and Hugo, which is for us the greatest source of motivation.
