Atelier Ryza 2 Gets No Censorship Outside Japan

Game company Koei Tecmo recently took to social media to announce that the upcoming JRPG sequel Atelier Ryza 2 will be different than the Japanese version.

There was a recent incident that was shown on Tokyo Game Show 2020 where the Japanese trailers were different than the ones shown for the Western audiences. This worried the fans from Western countries that the version they will get will be censored.

Koei Tecmo assured the fans that despite the differences between the promotional videos shown at TGS 2020, there will be no censorship of the game in the West. So the gameplay will be mostly the same of what players get from Japan.

Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends and the Secret Fairy will launch sometime in Winter 2020 for the West. It will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
