Game Director Tetsuya Nomura recently shared an interesting detail related to the upcoming sequel Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2 in an interview with media outlet Famitsu.
In the interview, Nomura revealed that Part 2 will most likely take full advantage of the PlayStation 5. He did not add any specific details about this, but he did ask the fans to wait for the next game to be showcased later in order to get the latest information.
On the other hand, FFVII Remake Intergrade will not fully have the advantage of the PS5 since it was first built for the PS4 in mind. He shared that lighting, graphics, and textures are the main adjustments in Intergrade. There are also added environmental effects like fog to further enhance the sense of realism.
While there are some added and tweaked features, Intergrade will not support Dualsense Haptic Feedback and 3D audio. He also added that the adaptive triggers are only partially supported.
No details yet when Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 2 will be announced, but it is possible it will now be released on PS4 and PS5.
