Following last month’s announcement of 500,000 copies of Spirtfarer being sold, Thunder Lotus has announced that a physical release of their heart-warming indie hit is coming out for Nintendo Switch and PS4 on July 27.
The physical release includes the base game and a collectible postcard and sticker stamp set. It will also come with a digital download of both the game’s soundtrack by composer Max LL and a 96-page Spiritfarer digital art book.
If you haven’t played Spirtfarer, it is a cozy management game where you guide the recently deceased. Players control Stella and are able to build and manage their boat and befriend a number of anthropomorphic animals who are on their journey to the afterlife. Players are able to fish, craft, harvest, and mine in between helping guide the spirits into the great beyond and learning about them and their journeys.
Spiritfarer is available now on the following platforms: Xbox Game Pass, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, and Stadia.
