Marvel’s Wolverine features a ‘mature tone’

Wolverine will present a much more "mature" tone than Spider-Man.

Insomniac Games took everyone by surprise when they revealed two of their new projects at PlayStation Showcase 2021 last week. As the love of Marvel characters fueled, Wolverine is one of the most intriguing and cool heroes in the X-Men universe, even in the entire Marvel-verse. With Marvel’s Wolverine set to launch soon, we are all excited.

The game director, Brian Horton, who also helmed directing Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, took over to Twitter stating Marvel’s Wolverine will be a “full-size” game with a “mature tone”.

It’s fitting to have the Wolverine game highlight such a theme since we don’t really see Logan as a lighthearted person after all.

Having Marvel’s Wolverine as a game means more blood will be spilled, more limbs will be dismembered, it’s going to be a bloody game.

There’s still little information about Marvel’s Wolverine aside from the teaser we saw at PlayStation Showcase 2021. What we know, however, is that the game is a first-party PlayStation exclusive.
