In a recent social media post by game company Nintendo, it assures the public of the continued service of the Nintendo Network for the Nintendo 3DS.
After it was announced that the Nintendo 3DS will not be getting any repair services support starting the end of March 2021, fans of the handheld console were scared that the Nintendo Network will be shut down as well. The DS and WII Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection was also shut down way back in May 2014, which is why they feared for this.
Fortunately, the game company announced on its Japanese customer support Twitter account that 3DS owners will still get service from the Nintendo Network. They can still connect to the servers and visit the eShop without any issues.
There is a possibility though that this will not last forever. There should be enough time for the fans to get all the content they want before Nintendo decides to shut it down later on.
