A new report revealed that multiple Silent Hill games are being developed at Konami.
Silent Hill Movie Director Christophe Gans has revealed in a French video interview the future of the Silent Hill franchise. He gave some hints about it on the video game side, which seems quite promising.
“I’m working with the Silent Team, the original creators at Konami, there are several games in development as we speak, there are several teams on it, with a big line of games, they will revive the franchise,” Gans said (translated by ResetEra). “I think they were really impressed with the success of the remakes of Resident Evil that are evidently exceptional games.”
The interviewer then asked for more details, which Gans spilled a bit. He says there are several games in the works, one of which is being worked on by the Bloober Team.
This is the closest thing to confirmation, but Konami or any other developers mentioned and who could be involved have not made any statements to confirm and make this official.
