The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Nachoyah Shrine Guide

The Nachoyah Shrine is among the various shrines present on the Great Sky Island in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This shrine holds one of the Lights of Blessing in the area and it requires some cunning manipulation of the objects inside it to be able to reach the heart of the shrine.

Read ahead as we go through the steps on how to complete the challenge in Nachoyah Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

How to reach the Nachoyah Shrine

After completing the first three shrines but failing to attempt to open the door at the Temple of Time, Rauru will lead you to go to the Nachoyah Shrine which is close to where Link first woke up in the Sky Islands. You can simply fast travel to the south area and you will arrive in the cave.

You will then have to move up to a higher level in the cave by using the wheels as steps. Use the new Recall ability that Zelda gave you in the Temple of Time and rewind the wheels so that they rotate the opposite way, allowing you to cross to the upper floor easily. You will then find the entrance to the shrine further down the cave.

How to solve the Nachoyah Shrine

Once you enter the shrine, you will have to cross a river. You cannot simply swim it as its banks are too high to reach. In order to solve it, use the Recall ability on the moving raft as soon as you can jump to it, and it will move back towards the other end of the bank.

Once you have crossed the river, you will need to go up a waterfall. Use the Recall ability on the raft that falls from the top of the waterfall once it gets close to your location. Once you get on the raft, try to stand in the middle of it as it will be jumping up and down as it follows its original path.

After reaching the top of the waterfall, look to the left side to find a huge cog. Use the ability on it and climb on the cog’s teeth to reach a higher platform that has a chest that contains some arrows.

Go to the opposite side of the hall where you will see two clock hands that spin in directions opposite to each other. To solve this, choose either one of the hands to use the Recall ability on and try to activate the ability as soon as both hands align. This will keep the door below it open long enough for you to be able to pass. You can then get the Light of Blessing from the statues ahead.
