The Orochium Shrine is among the various shrines that can be found on the Herba Mountains region of the Hyrule Surface in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This shrine tasks players to solve the “Courage to Fall” trial, and it pays not to be too good at avoiding traps.

Read ahead as we go through the steps in order to solve the Courage to Fall puzzle and share the location of the Orochium Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom.

    Orochium Shrine Location

The Orochium Shrine can be found in the Hyrule Surface’s Hebra Mountains region, north of the Snowfield Stable, with coordinates -1628, 2636, 0238.

Orochium Shrine Puzzle Solution and Walkthrough

To solve the Orochium Shrine, you will need to recover the small ball that unlocks the gate to the statues.

First, take the path on the left and take out the enemy patrol. Then, use Ascend to climb up the pillars on the side of the wall. Up top, crouch down to crawl underneath the gap on the wall then clear out the enemies. There is a chest on the side that contains arrows.

Use Ultrahand to open the doors to see the laser trap and crouch down. Be prepared to clear out the enemies up ahead; it’s best to lure them close first to avoid taking all of them at once.

Once the enemies have been cleared, intentionally trip the laser to open the trap door below you.

Walk through the corridor and avoid any of the lasers until you reach the end. Use Ascend to go up and open the chest to get a Small Key.

Make your way back to the small room near the lasers you tripped to retrieve the small ball. Carry the ball and ride the lift on the side of the room.

Once you get to the top, place the ball on the hole to open the nearby gate where you can get a glider. Make sure to attach the ball on the glider first before setting the glider on the rails.

Take the glider down to the starting area and put the ball on the hole to open the gate. Head towards the statues to get your Light of Blessing and complete the shrine.

Once you solve the Orochium Shrine, you’re one step closer from completing all 152 shrines in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. You can go to our other Shrine guides to collect more Light of Blessing and chests:
