Mortal Kombat 1 Chief Promises to Address Problematic Nintendo Switch Version

The infamous problematic Nintendo Switch version of Mortal Kombat 1 has been promised to be addressed by NetherRealm Studios, according to its boss.

Currently, Mortal Kombat 1 Nintendo Switch version has become a joke on the internet due to its “eye-popping” visuals. Various players have posted screenshots of gameplay online of characters that have their eyes pop out of their sockets. Some of them have dead eyes, others have downgraded textures, and many more. There were also some buggy gameplay incidents, but those were rare.

    Like so.

In an interview with BBC Newsbeat, NetherRealm’s Ed Boon has now promised everyone that the Nintendo Switch version will finally get an update in the near future.

“And a number of the concerns of the issues that had come up will absolutely be addressed,” Boon said. “It would have been ideal for us to have released the version that we absolutely wanted. But anything that we’re finding a problem with is on our list and is going to be fixed.”

Various websites have given lots of praises for Mortal Kombat 1 on new-gen consoles and PC, but it was the opposite on Nintendo Switch. Some of them would rate the game “lower” than below average” due to the numerous graphical and gameplay bugs. It was a poor quality port of a great game that was difficult to enjoy on the handheld. To make it worse, the game costs $70 on Nintendo Switch with such low quality.

Hopefully, NetherRealm Studios will hasten its efforts to make adjustments or else the game will only have losses as the days pass by.
