Overwatch has been quite active these past couple of months with newer content and updates that are planned to bring about the peak of their gameplay. Recently, a new animated trailer was uploaded on their official YouTube channel, and it features a new hero who will side with Talon and take down anyone who gets in her way.
Shion is an upcoming Damage hero in Overwatch. She will be the hero released in Season 3 on June 16, 2026, making her the 52nd hero to be added to the game. Based on the animated trailer, she has ties to the Hashimoto clan, who are essentially not only siding with Talon, but also considered as rivals of the Shimada clan. Like all her Hashimoto counterparts, this dual-wielding hero is barely human, wears an oni mask, and wields a blade as well that she uses for close-range combat.
Overwatch is available to play on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Looking forward to more info about the next season of Overwatch, as new trailers and gameplay updates will be released soon.
