Palworld’s Tombat is a recommended Pal to have in a base as they can help out in mining stone and ore. Tombat is tagged as #68 on the Paldeck and they are Dark-type Pals which are strong against Neutral types and weak against Dragon types. Read ahead as we share the locations on where Tombat can be captured, how to breed for one in Palworld, along with insights into its drops, skills, and stats.

Tombat Location: Where to find Tombat in Palworld?

To find Tombat, explore the southern regions during nighttime; the earliest regions that they could be encountered in are in between the areas of the starting Plateau of Beginnings, Desolate Church, and the Small Settlement. Tombats are rare and usually spawn alone, but they can be easily seen at night thanks to their glowing purple wisps.

How to breed Tombat in Palworld?

How to breed Tombat in Palworld

Tombat can be obtained by breeding one male and one female Tombat, and can be bred early from these following combinations:

    • Tombat(♂) + Tombat(♀) = Tombat
    • Gobfin + Nitewing = Tombat
    • Loupmoon + Surfent = Tombat
    • Robinquill + Cinnamoth = Tombat
    • Nitewing + Beegarde = Tombat
    • Beegarde + Mossanda = Tombat

Because of its rarity Breeding Power-wise, it would be much quicker to spot a Tombat in the wild rather than breeding for one in the ranch.

Tombats are good early-to-mid base helpers to improve the production of stone and ore mining, especially for ores as it has Lv2 Mining, plus it also has Lv2 Transporting. They are also nocturnal Pals so they do not sleep throughout the night, do not need beds, and just continue working in the base.

Tombat’s partner skill, the Ultrasonic Sensor, allows players to get a sense of the nearby Pals as they get marked and shown on the compass for a short time.

    Tombat Drops

Tombat can drop the following items when hunted:

    • Leather
    • Small Pal Soul

Tombats are great Pals to have within the transition of the early game to the mid-game because of its mining and transporting capabilities, plus its longer hours of work. It is recommended to get a few of them working in a mining base while working on getting a couple of Anubis to replace them.
