Palworld took the world by surprise when it recently came out on PC via Steam in early access, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Dubbed the “Pokemon with guns” video game, Palworld, developed by Pocketpair, has amassed a very positive rating on Steam, and it’s currently the new trending game on the platform; it’s even available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
Palworld is a new monster-taming title with base-building mechanics. Like Pokemon games, you can collect 100 Pals in a vast open-world setting. The game launched in early access on Steam and Xbox consoles (it’s also on Xbox Game Pass).
However, players from the PlayStation community are wondering if Palworld is also on PS5 and PS4?
Is Palworld coming to PS5 and PS4?
Unfortunately, Palworld is not coming to PS5 or the PS4. Pocketpair has not announced if the game is coming to other platforms, aside from a statement on the game’s Steam FAQ page: “We don’t have plans for this at the moment, but will consider it during development.”
With the game being in ‘early access,’ the team at Pocketpair may still be fixing potential issues before opening the possibility of bringing the game to other platforms like the PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.
While it’s still early to say that Palworld will not come to the PS4 and PS5, there is still that glimmer of hope as other games that came out on PC and Xbox, such as High on Life, were also released on PlayStation’s consoles. After sorting out issues of the game’s current state and adding more content in the coming months, Pocketpair may decide to bring Palworld to other platforms where they are ready.
