There is a new rumor claiming that Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp will be getting another major delay.
The remake of the popular strategy video game Advance Wars seems to be getting a major delay. The original delay was due to the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia, which pushed the launch a bit further. That new release date is now almost around the corner, and this new rumor suggest that it will be pushed to next year instead.
The rumor comes from Twitter user EnterZalman suggesting that the release date of the game is now pushed back to February 2023. The European retailer CoolShop also revealed that the release date now appears to be February 24, 2023. This is now over a year after its original release date. Nintendo or WayForward, the developer, has not made any statement to confirm or deny this delay yet.
WayForward is still hard at work giving fans updates on what is happening in the development of the game remake, but no word yet on the delay. They could be announcing it very soon since the release date before this new rumor is already closing in, just a few weeks now.
Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp is currently in development for Nintendo Switch.
