All-New PlayStation Plus for Asia Gets New Release Schedule

PS Plus for Asia gets out early except for Japan while the rest is still following the same schedules.

A new update from Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed a new release schedule for the all-new PlayStation Plus for Asia.

According to SIE, there is now a new schedule for the release of the all-new PlayStation Plus on select Asia markets and followed by Japan. It will be a bit earlier than the original schedule.

Here are the new schedules now:

  • Asia markets (excluding Japan) – targeting May 23, 2022
  • Japan – targeting June 1, 2022
  • Americas – targeting June 13, 2022
  • Europe – targeting June 22, 2022

Americas and Europe will still follow schedule in June 13, 2022 and June 22, 2022 respectively.

SIE has confirmed they are expanding their cloud streaming access to locations mentioned above for a total of 30 markets with cloud streaming access. There are also other markets that will offer the Premium tier from PS Plus at launch, which are:

  • Bulgaria
  • Croatia
  • Czech Republic
  • Greece
  • Hungary
  • Malta
  • Poland
  • Republic of Cyprus
  • Romania
  • Slovakia
  • Slovenia

SIE confirms they have been working on this endeavor to provide flexible options, quality games, and greater value for their members for a while now.
