All Trade Authority Locations in Starfield

The Trade Authority is one of the biggest trade factions in Starfield. As their name suggests, they deal with all kinds of trades, from the mundane commodities, to even the smuggled contrabands. Players will often want to visit a Trade Authority merchant or kiosk from time to time to sell some stuff for some quick credits.

Read ahead as we share the locations of all the Trade Authority shops and kiosks in Starfield.

    Alpha Centauri Trade Authority

There are two locations in the Alpha Centauri System where the Trade Authority operates:

    The Well, Jemison

Alpha Centauri Trade Authority in The Well, Jemison - Starfield

Trade Authority’s main shop is in The Well in the planet Jemison, which is the underground city below New Atlantis.

    New Atlantis, Jemison

There’s a Trade Authority kiosk by the landing bay, next to the ship services station.

    Sol Trade Authority

There are two locations in the Sol System where the Trade Authority operates:

    Cydonia, Mars

Sol Trade Authority in Cydonia, Mars - Starfield

As you arrive at the mining colony, you will find a Trade Authority kiosk by the station’s entrance, next to the ship services station. There’s also the main shop well within the mining colony, but their signage is smaller than the other shops’ in the other systems.

    Volii Trade Authority

There are two locations in the Volii System where the Trade Authority operates:

    Neon, Volii Alpha

Volii Trade Authority in Neon, Volii Alpha - Starfield

As you arrive at Neon’s platform, go to the ship station by the landing bay to find the kiosk. The Trade Authority main shop is just by the elevator to the main platform and it has a big yellow sign that can’t be missed.

    Cheyenne Trade Authority

There are two locations in the Cheyenne System where the Trade Authority operates:

    Akila City, Akila

Cheyenne Trade Authority in Akila City, Akila - Starfield

As you arrive in Akila, head towards the main city and you will eventually pass by the ship service station where the kiosk is at. For the main shop, locate the GalBank branch and go around it to find the shop.

    Wolf Trade Authority

There are two locations in the Wolf System where the Trade Authority operates:

    The Den, Cthonia

Wolf Trade Authority in The Den, Cthonia - Starfield

The Den is the space station orbiting Cthonia. Dock with the station and once you’re inside, you will see the kiosk beside the ship service crew. Walk further ahead and turn left to find the main shop. The Den is one of two locations where you can freely sell contraband and stolen goods without being scanned by authorities.

    Kryx Trade Authority

There is one location in the Kryx System where the Trade Authority operates:

    The Key, Oymyakon

Kryx Trade Authority in The Key, Oymyakon - Starfield

The Key is the space station orbiting Oymyakon, and it is controlled by the Crimson Fleet. Dock with the station and head inside where you will find the main shop. The Key is one of two locations where you can freely sell contraband and stolen goods without being scanned by authorities. You will have to be allied with the Crimson Fleet or be undercover working with the UC to be able to access this station without being seen as hostile.

What can be done in the Trade Authority?

The Trade Authority deals with any kind of trade, be it if you want to buy something from their goods or if you want to sell something from them. The Trade Authority merchants usually sell just the common items and not specialties, but they accept any kind of tradeable item as long as you make it through the contraband screening for the respective planet that they are on.

Each merchant or vendor only has a limited amount of credits that they can use to buy your items; usually, unmanned kiosks only have around 5,000 credits, while main shops have around 11,000 to 12,000 credits. These credits get replenished after a certain amount of in-game time has passed; it’s 24 hours for kiosks, while it’s 48 hours for main shops. So in case you have a huge haul that you want to sell, you may have to visit multiple Trade Authority locations or simply sleep in your ship to let time pass.
