Multinational technology company Amazon recently advised some customers who have pre-ordered the next-gen console Xbox Series X that they might not be able to get their orders fulfilled until the end of the year.

According to some posts on Twitter, users have been sent emails from the company in the recent few days. They were about the pre-orders they made for the next-gen Xbox consoles. They quickly informed them that they might be low on stock right now.

“We expect to ship your console in the coming weeks as we receive more inventory in November and December,” one of the tweets said. “At this time, we anticipate that you will receive your Xbox Series X by 12/31 or before. We are making every effort to get it to you as soon as possible and apologize for any inconvenience.”

Amazon Help made a reply to the posts that complained about the big delay. It revealed that the item was on high demand and reiterated that more stocks will be coming in later this month and the next.

There was no specific number of how many customers have been affected by this delay. Amazon has not made any comments in regards to this as well.
