Developer Innersloth has recently released the Among Us 2023 roadmap which revealed a new map and more.
While Innersloth did not reveal the release dates for its new content, it did reveal what new content will be introduced this year. The first one on the list are UI/UX updates for the game. This meant cleaning up the account merging flow, updating the store to make it easier to navigate, making it easier to report a toxic player, and many more.
The next set of plans was noted to be in no particular order, so some of these might get released earlier than others. The first one was Map 5, a whole new map to explore for players in the game. They did not reveal the theme, but they did say that it will include a lot of new tasks for players to figure out so that is something to look forward to.
Matchmaking will be improved this year too. Since there have been new modes, new roles, and the introduction of customization of their lobbies, improving the matchmaking process is needed. This will make it easier to find games.
There will be a rework for the quickchat since this is an integral part of Among Us. Innersloth is planning to refine the dialogue options while also making it easier to navigate.
There are plans for collaborations and the developers are quite excited about it. They teased that there will be big ones being planned for this year.
Fans of Among Us will be looking forward to a lot of things this year as Innersloth is stepping up their game.
Among Us is now available on mobile, PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
