Some fans are speculating that Assassin’s Creed might get remade due to a new clip.
Assassin’s Creed Looks Quite Different
The Assassin’s Creed 15th Anniversary Kickoff video was recently concluded and some eagle-eyed fans have noticed something at the beginning of the video. They discovered that the CG opening of AC 1 had a completely new color scheme, which was strange. What was more strange is that the clip was the only one that was looked different than the other games, which made it more suspicious.
Remake or Remaster on the Horizon?
Fans then concluded that Assassin’s Creed is getting either a remake or at least a remaster. The event also revealed that this coming September 2022, the future of the Assassin’s Creed franchise will be revealed by Ubisoft and attached to it is a new logo with the number 15 on it. This could mean several big announcements are happening on that month and one of them could be the remaster of Assassin’s Creed 1.
The Perfect Time
It is the perfect time to do so as well since the original game has already aged quite much. A retouch of the game with new visuals and smoother mechanics would revive its popularity. Since remakes have become quite popular recently, it is quite possibly Ubisoft is going to ride that popularity wave too.
Might Just Be an Increase on Saturation
Others are saying though that Ubisoft only increased the saturation of that clip since it was too bland to look at originally. It might look strange when combined with the other clips, so others are saying not to get their hopes up.
