Assassin’s Creed Valhalla New Hotfix Fixes Three Issues

Ubisoft has released a new hotfix for the latest video game sequel Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

The small update was deployed just recently and has fixed three server-side issues. Check out the notes below:

  • Unable to proceed with Rock of Fertility world event  
    • Cannot interact with NPC 
  • Unable to proceed with The Reeve of Winchester 
    • Cannot interact with Goodwin after escorting him to safety 
  • Unable to proceed with Island of Eels 
    • Cannot interact with Soma 

Aside from the hotfix, Ubisoft also shared a workaround for those who are unable to progress with the quests above after launching and loading the save game. Here’s what you do:

  1. Create a manual save 
  2. Close the game entirely, then launch it again 
  3. Load the created save 
  4. You should now be able to proceed with the respective quest 

Ubisoft also noted that if players will reload the game before proceeding with the respective quest, they will have to relaunch the game application first before they can go on with the quest.

The developers are currently working on a permanent solution, so we will have to be patient.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
