Objectives:
Find the Aranahe Hometree
Take the time to prepare for your journey to the Aranahe Hometree by upgrading your gear at the HQ. Once you’re ready, head west from Tapestry Falls. You’ll encounter some Aranahe as you pass through some of their camps along the way.
Once you reach the Hometree, you will be met by some hostility, but Nefika will take you in to get refuge in their Hometree.
Follow Nefika, the Aranahe Weaver, inside Hometree
As Nefika guides you in the Hometree, she will introduce you to some of the Aranahe living in it.
First, you will meet Koranu, the weaver, whom you can talk to to purchase some gear.
Next, Nefika will take you to the Hearth where you will meet their cook, Relun. You can talk to him about getting ingredients or dishes.
Finally, you will be taken to Kitangi, one of their hunters. She questions your ability to track and hunt, so Nefika suggests that you get accompanied by their other hunter, Eetu, for a hunt.
After the conversation, Nefika suggests that you take the time to prepare or rest up. You will be given the Lightweight Armguard as part of your new gear, and you will also gain 1 skill point.
Clan Favor
Additionally, you will gain a Clan Favor for the Aranahe Clan. You can raise Clan Favor by completing quests, taking down RDA facilities, and contributing items to community baskets in clan homes and Na’vi camps. Raising your favor with a clan will reward you with their items and designs for gear.
Co-op Mode Unlocked
More importantly, you will now be able to play in co-op mode with another player. You will need to be connected to the internet to be able to enjoy co-op, and then you can invite a friend to join you through your friends list.
While in co-op mode, you and your friend can do a free roam all through Pandora. As for quests, you can also complete them through co-op, but it is important that both players be on the same exact point of the story quest to be able to do so. Otherwise, the player who is behind on the story progression should catch up to the other player’s progress.
Another thing to consider while in co-op mode is that players can give or exchange their gear. Through this, players who have higher-tiered gear can give it to another player to give them a significant boost in their combat strength rank.
