The Missing Hunter is the eighth chapter in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. One of the hunters fighting against the RDA for the sake of the Aranahe clan, Eetu, has been reported missing. Read ahead as we go through the events of The Missing Hunter in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and share some tips on how to complete the chapter.

Objectives:
Talk to Vefilu at The High Loom camp
Catch up with Vefilu, who has gone to The High Loom camp north of the Hometree. Talk to her to convince her to let you help them find Eetu. She shares that they have been fighting off the RDA in their own ways without ever letting Ka’nat know.
Vefilu warns that you should prepare before your search of Eetu and that you should use the big leaves to break your fall as you descend to the lower lands.
Look for Eetu
Head up the camp, and you’ll find a ramp where you can jump towards the big leaves. Aim and jump towards one of the big leaves, and try to stay relatively close to the trunk so that you’ll fall safely.
Once you land, follow the marker that leads to Eetu’s hideout. You’ll soon encounter more RDA soldiers near the hideout; take them out to clear the area.
After dealing with the soldiers, look for the entrance to Mender’s Cave.
Investigate Mender’s Cave to find Eetu
By the mouth of the cave, search the container to find the Precision Grip heavy bow grip mod. Enter the cave and use your senses to start an investigation.
First, inspect the discarded food and link it to the eating table nearby. This will show that Eetu was about to eat when he got attacked by the RDA soldiers.
Next, inspect the broken bow and link it to the dead RDA soldiers nearby. This suggests that Eetu tried to fight, but his bow broke and he had to flee.
Finally, inspect the broken Ikran gear with the scratch marks on the wall of the cave. This will show that an ikran fought inside, most likely Zomey, as it tried to protect Eetu and flee for safety.
Track the wounded ikran from Mender’s Cave
After piecing all the clues together, you can then use your senses to track down the scent of the ikran blood. Follow the scent through the forest until you arrive at the crash site.
Defend Zomey from the RDA at the crash site
You’ll be facing against waves of RDA soldiers trying to kill Zomey. You will have to clear them out quickly, as once Zomey gets killed, you will fail the objective. Try to destroy the enemy scorpions, bringing in reinforcements, and take advantage of the staff sling to lay down traps.
Check on Zomey at the crash site
Head over to Zomey who lands near a crashed dragon. You’ll then hear Eetu trapped inside the dragon.
Help Eetu get out of the dragon ship at the crash site
You try to open it, but the door is jammed, and you’ll have to find a way to fix it. Take this time to check the chest nearby to find the Guerilla Magazine assault rifle magazine mod.
Find a way to open the door of the dragon ship at the crash site
Use your SID and aim at the ship to find the wire connected to the emergency door lever. However, there’s no power running through the lever, so you will have to trace it back to the power source.
As you climb the ship, you’ll notice that Zomey is standing over the power source and will not go away. You will need to approach Zomey while trying to soothe her, and she will eventually fly away.
Now you can repair the power box, but another node has to be fixed. Align its frequency first, then you can try pulling the door lever to let Eetu out.
As you try to open the door, another scorpion flies in and traps you inside the ship. Eetu is worried about Zomey and wants to get back to her as soon as possible.
Find a way to escape the downed dragon ship / Escape the aircraft at the crash site
Look for the panel near Eetu, and use your SID to hack it. Navigate through the path by avoiding the jammed line. You will need to do this quickly, as a fire has also just started inside the ship.
Talk to Eetu on the shore at the crash site
After making your escape into the water, climb the nearby ledge to reunite with Eetu. You celebrate the small victory with Eetu, but you soon find out that he is injured.
Follow Eetu, as he looks for Zomey around the crash site
Follow Eetu as he makes his way to the crash site to look for Zomey. He talks about how special his bond is to his ikran, and he must find her.
Track Zomey to find her around the crash site
Because of Eetu’s injury, he struggles to walk, so you suggest Eetu to stop and rest. He agrees and tells you to track Zomey down using her scent. Find roots that lead up to the high cliffs as you follow the scent, and you will eventually find Zomey.
Sadly, Zomey has been mortally wounded. Eetu tries to console the ikran by bonding with her to share the pain, but Zomey passes away.
Leave the crash site to let Eetu mourn
As Eetu mourns, he wants you to tell Etuwa and Vefilu that he is safe. He also says that you should join him in honoring Zomey’s final flight once he gets back to the Hometree.
From here, you can fast travel back to the Hometree to complete the chapter. You will be rewarded with the Blazing Longbow and another Clan Favor for the Aranahe.
