Baldur’s Gate 3 Hotfix 2.1 Finally Fixes Frustrating Saving Issue

More fixes, one update at a time.

Larian Studios has recently released Baldur’s Gate 3 hotfix 2.1 is quite small but it does include a fix for a frustrating saving issue.

Baldur’s Gate 3 Hotfix 2.1: Small But Helpful Patch

Baldur’s Gate 3 hotfix 2.1 is now available with the latest patch notes have been revealed. The hotfix is relatively small but it does solve an issue with save games. Sometimes, when saving a game, the save file would grow too large, which was unnatural. It would be less than usual, but this bug made it too large to keep in storage.

The other fix re-enabled the Larian Cloud savegames feature, which was much needed for players who like to have their saves stored on the Cloud rather than on storage devices. It is for convenience of course, but for those who want to be super careful, they want to have another saved game aside for those in the storage devices.

Cross-Save Finally Back

The studio also confirmed that it will be reactivating cross-saves as the game’s PS5 launch gets close.
