Even after months since the game’s official launch, Baldur’s Gate 3 still dominates the Steam charts.

Baldur’s Gate 3 was a big hit when it first launched a few months ago thanks to its immersive gameplay, great dialogue and story options, and over 17,000 possible different game endings. It was praised so much that it exceeded the expectations of Larian Studios, the developers, of 100,000 player peak. It instead garnered over 500,000 player peak later in early August 2023.

According to the Steam Charts today, Baldur’s Gate 3 has now peaked at nearly one million players, with an official 875,343 concurrent players. It is also good to know that the game has not lowered its player count with over 300K players in nearly two months since release.

What’s the cause of this rise in numbers despite that it has been months already since launch? It is due to the replayability, tons of different classes and builds to explore and every single one of them offers a unique playstyle to enjoy. It is also mostly bug-free and the smaller issues have become a rather funny feature for the community, so it has been an enjoyable experience for them.
