Baldur’s Gate 3 Coming to Steam and Google Stadia Early Access in September 2020

Game developer Larian Studios has some good news for the fans of upcoming video game Baldur’s Gate 3.

Fans will be able to play the early access version of the game on Steam and Google Stadia this coming Sept. 30. Players can try out Act 1, which promises to have 25 hours-worth of gameplay.

The start of the journey in this new game will be in Avernus, which is the first layer of the Nine Hells. Players will become a captive aboard a nautiloid and will have to escape as the ship jumps between planes of existence and is caught up in the fury of the eternal apocalyptic Blood War.

This whole adventure promises players with a lot of “depth of reactivity”. This will allow different kinds of approaches for certain encounters and dialogues depending on the characters being played.

Early access will feature the first of three acts and will have five recruitable Origin characters. These characters are elf/vampire rogue Astarion, human wizard Gale, Githyanki warrior Lae’zel, half-elf cleric Shadowheart, and human warlock Wyll. There will be more contents later throughout the development. The studio will detail players classes, which will be six at launch, and races this coming Sept. 30.
