Best Diablo IV Dungeons for Farming XP and Loot Get Nerfed

The Blessed Mother hates players who raid her dungeons over and over again.

Blizzard has recently nerfed some of its best farming spots in Diablo IV dungeons and players are angry.

Diablo IV Hotfix Ruined Everything

A new hotfix was recently released for Diablo IV which made further adjustments to elite monster density in dungeons. Unfortunately, these changes made things worse for the players as it changed the EXP and loot drops for such types of mobs.

What’s more, Blizzard put a note accompanying the hotfix which made things way worse than before. “We are standardizing the density of elite monsters that spawn in dungeons to ensure that no particular dungeon is clearly more efficient to run through than others.”

Blizzard Hates Farming

The number of Elite monsters in the dungeons got lowered with this hotfix since it became too popular for farming. In the game, defeating elite-level monsters lets players earn a lot of XP and rare loot. Since they had a lot of rewards, players crowded these dungeons and when to the smallest areas to farm XP and loot high-level drops as much as possible.

Blizzard Hates Fun

Several players have now posted online to voice out their complaints. Some are asking Blizzard to stop nerfing their fun dungeons in the game. They are asking the developers to instead buff the other dungeons that are so bad that other players do not run them. Another player stated that dungeons with low monster density are just boring.

Blizzard Pushing for Open-World Instead of Dungeon Runs

Some speculate that Blizzard is pushing players to engage in the open world instead of farming the dungeons over and over again.

Part of the reason that the backlash is strong for this particular change is the difficulty of leveling up characters once they hit 50. It takes a long time to grind and will need tons of hours to spend. It will be hard to do that especially for those who are doing solos with their playthroughs.

Diablo IV is out now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
