Blasphemous Wounds of Eventide Now Available for Download

Team17 and The Game Kitchen have recently announced the launch of Blasphemous Wounds of Eventide.

Wounds of Eventide is the third and final free update for the action-platformer Blasphemous on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. This is the final chapter of The Penitent One’s first story and offers tons of new levels, bosses, items, and secrets. This also unlocks the other fate for Cvstodia that will lead into the events of the Blasphemous sequel that will launch sometime in 2023.

This new content concludes the series of three post-launch updates that got released for the game since its 2019 launch, which started with Stir of Dawn that launched in 2020 and introduced the New Torment mode, a New Game+ addition that offered a challenge to players with new level of difficulty. It also added new playstyles, new bosses, and more. The second update was Strife and Ruin, which launched last February 2021. It introduced Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night character Miriam into the world of Cvstodia as she asked for assistance from The Penitent One. Strife and Ruin added a new game mode and a Demake Area that plays like an 8-bit platformer.

Blasphemous is now available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
