Bloober Team Confirmed Working on Two Projects

It's not Silent Hill, but they are working on something.

The Medium 4K

Game studio Bloober Team has denied the speculations of their team working on a particular project, but has confirmed of two projects.

Several speculations have circulated recently online about the makers of Layers of Fear 2 and recently The Medium after a leaker claimed to have discovered three projects that had codenames. They were H2O, which was thought to be Layers of Fear 2, Black, and Dum Spiro. Some believed that the other two titles are related to Silent Hill and it was going to be revived in some way.

CMO Tomasz Gawlikowski recently spoked with media outlet IGN and has given a statement. He has denied the allegations, but did share some new details of their upcoming works.

“Online speculations based on outdated or incomplete information can often lead to strange theories among gamers, so we appreciate you asking us directly,” Gawlikowski shared.

“We have also applied for two other projects, codenamed respectively Dum Spiro and Black,” Gawlikowski continued. “After numerous iterations of Dum Spiro, we’ve concluded we can’t at the moment deliver it in a form that is appropriately sensitive to the topic and commercially viable at the same time. In short, Dum Spiro is no longer in active development at the moment.

“Similarly, the initial idea for Black has also been shelved, and while we’re still developing a game under this codename, it’s now a much different project than what you could read on the web in the past few days.”

“At Bloober Team we have two active internal projects, one in the production phase and one in the pre-production phase. Both are going to be bigger in scope than The Medium, however, neither of them is based on themes or premises that have been circulating online in the last days.”

So, there you have it guys. Bloober Team is not working on any Silent Hill game, but there are two big projects in the works.
