At the start of 2025, Cardfight Vanguard Dear Days 2 will be launched. It will feature booster sets from DZB01: Fate Clash to the latest sets. Recently, Bushiroad announced new details about the game’s features and also revealed a nostalgic piece of info that will excite players worldwide.

During the Bushiroad TCG presentation, Dear Days 2 will still have its story campaign featuring once more Yuki Ichidoji who aims to become the strongest Vanguard fighter in her community. Upon her journey, she will be meeting new and original Vanguard fighters in the game and from the anime series, like Akina Myodou, Nao Inabe, and more from DivineZ.

At the end of the presentation for Dear Days 2, developers have added a familiar Vanguard format that players will love to play once more. That format is known as the Premium format. In this mode, players will get to play cards from booster sets released in 2011 and play them separately from the current format of Cardfight Vanguard.

The booster sets that will be part of the Premium sets are the following:

    • VG-BT01 Descent of the King of Knights
    • VG-BT02 Onslaught of Dragon Souls
    • VG-BT03 Demonic Lord Invasion
    • VG-BT04 Eclipse of Illusionary Shadows
    • VG-BT05 Awakening of Twin Blades
    • VG-EB01: Comic Style Vol.1
    • VG-EB02: Banquet of Divas

Cardfight Vanguard Dear Days 2 will launch on January 30, 2025, for the Nintendo Switch and PC (via Steam). For more info about the game, check out their main website.
