Cyberpunk 2077 Players can Disable Copyrighted Music for Content Making

Game studio CD Projekt RED recently shared some good news for content creators who want to make some videos for upcoming video game Cyberpunk 2077.

CD Projekt RED encourages players to make their own content with their games, but with the upcoming game, some streamers are worried their videos will have copyright issues. In order to get around that, the developers have introduced a new setting that will make it better for the content creators.

Players can now use the “Disable Copyrighted Music” toggle, which is available in the game’s settings. It disables a small portion of in-game tracks, streaming of which could otherwise result in demonetization or takedowns of their videos or stream clips. With this option enabled, players can start streaming or record their videos without any problems.

CD Projekt RED encourages players to use this option when doing videos, but if they run into problems, they can ask help from them via this link.

Cyberpunk 2077 launches on December 10 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. PS5 and Xbox Series X/S upgrades are coming later on.
