CD Projekt RED has recently announced that it will be sharing its plans for the future of Cyberpunk 2077.
A new post on the official Twitter post has revealed that CDPR is going to have a special episode of Night City Wire. The contents of the new episode will focus more on the upcoming anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, which focuses on a certain netrunner living in Night City. The other part of the post though is what made fans perk up their ears.
According to the post, the upcoming special episode of Night City Wire will include the developers’ future plans for Cyberpunk 2077. After a long silence from CDPR, fans have been waiting for an update from them. Also, it has been a long time since they released an update or even a hotfix for the game. This will be the biggest news for the fans as this may lead to possibly the release dates of major content for the game. Some speculate it will be about the upcoming expansion that CDPR planned to release or maybe another big update.
The special episode of Night City Wire will premiere on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at 5 PM CEST.
Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
