A new leak has revealed that Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty details including price and a hint of a big announcement.
Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty: What to Expect
The first and only expansion for Cyberpunk 2077, Phantom Liberty, will introduce brand new content for the game which includes new characters, a new storyline, more side quests, new gear, new weapons, and a lot more. Some are hoping it will introduce a new ending for players to unlock, which has a very low chance of happening. Still, it is a good chance to reinvigorate the game again. New details have now been revealed today via a leak coming from a surprising source.
Leak Comes from… GOG???
The leak comes from GOG, a subsidiary owned by CD Projekt RED, which revealed the listing of Phantom Liberty early. It was revealed the DLC will cost 29.99 euros or an equivalent of around $34.99. The listing was on display for a short while only, but was taken down right away after GOG realized its mistake. Too late though, there are already several screenshots of it circulating online.
Announcement on Summer Game Fest
The listing, unfortunately, did not reveal a lot of other details about the expansion like a brief description of it, the release date, the file size, or any substantial info. This does confirm one thing though: Phantom Liberty will definitely be announced this coming Summer Game Fest 2023. If CD Projekt RED was planning to reveal the listing soon, then it is only logical the developers are going to showcase it today during the event with all of the details everyone is looking for, especially the release date.
There have been rumors that the expansion will be released sometime in August 2023. What has been confirmed so far is that it will only be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
