Best Taste is a ranking mechanic in Dave the Diver that determines the rank of Bancho’s Sushi through the Cooksta app. The more diverse and satisfying the dishes are in the menu of the sushi bar, the higher the Best Taste score will be. Read ahead as we explain how the Best Taste ranking works and how to raise the score higher in Dave the Diver.
How to Raise your Best Taste Score
The Best Taste score is simply the score of an unlocked dish that has the highest satisfaction or taste score among all dishes. This means it only accounts the score of one dish and it is not an accumulated or average taste score of all the unlocked dishes in the sushi bar’s menu.
Raising the Best Taste score is done by enhancing the dish so that its taste score becomes the highest among the menu. Each dish has a different base taste score, which increases with every enhancement level up to the maximum level of 10. Simpler dishes can only reach certain taste scores and may not be able to fulfill the requirements to rank up in Cooksta, so it’s best to invest in the more advanced dishes when aiming to get the Best Taste.
Raising the Best Taste score is important to reach the higher ranks in Cooksta, which in turn unlocks more benefits for the sushi bar and more recipes. The maximum needed Best Taste score to reach the highest Cooksta rank, Diamond, is 375 points.
