Zombie parts are essential to a Slayer’s success against the hordes of the Undead. They are used to craft mods and perks. Think of it as using the zombies’ assets against themselves, and to great effect.
This guide will list down all the zombie parts you can expect to find out there in Hell-A. We will also tell which zombies carry the parts and where you should aim to improve your odds of getting them.
List of Zombie Parts in Dead Island 2
One thing to note, though: The inventory limit for each part is set at 99 individual pieces. Your character won’t be able to hold more than that. As such, here are all the zombie parts you can pick up in Dead Island 2:

Electrified Brain
- Description: “Highly charged gray matter from this brain can be removed and used in fabrication.”

- Tip: Go for the head. Even shooting their heads off works and increases the chance of a drop.
Regenerating Tissue
- Description: “A lump of flesh that continues to repair itself long after separation from its zombie host body.”
- Obtained from:

Blade Arm
- Description: “A razor-sharp piece of bone contorted into the shape of a blade”
- Obtained from:

- Tip: This zombie part is a common drop from Butchers. Best to focus on surviving before entertaining thoughts of harvesting them.
Mutated Heart
- Description: “An abnormally large, mutated zombie heart encased in thick, sinewy muscle growth.”
- Obtained from:

- Tip: The mutated heart is a pure chance drop. But if you kill a Mutator before the transformation process kicks in, you’ll save yourself a lot of headaches.
