PlayStation Video Left Fans Confused Over Dead Space Remake Claim

It was an incorrect claim and misunderstood by many.

Dead Space

A new video that got released by PlayStation has recently made some fans confused due to a certain claim of Dead Space Remake console exclusivity.

To make it clear: Dead Space Remake is still coming on January 27, 2023. It will be released on various platforms, which are PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. This one video that got released by PlayStation though, is not making it clear to everyone.

One of the promotional videos by PlayStation for Dead Space Remake and other games has revealed these titles will be coming to PS4 and PS5. However, some of these highlighted games had a different caption which only said “Coming to PS5 only.” Aside from Dead Space Remake, the list also includes Star Wars Jedi Survivor, and other third-party titles.

Many PlayStation fans were quick to post this confusing caption on social media to ask for clarification. Some claimed that the games were only coming to PlayStation and not to Xbox and PC. This was inaccurate as the caption only meant that the game was going to be on PS5 only and not on PS4. It is still coming to other platforms, but since this was a video posted by PlayStation, they had to only mention their brand name and not the opposition.

While this could have been understood easily, some were misled by this video. Some have criticized this method of promo and should have made it clear to everyone. Sony Interactive Entertainment has not made any statement to address this situation.
