Recently this week, microtransaction currency of Destiny 2 was apparently available on Valve’s Steam. But to clarify, Bungie discussed about the topic and confirmed that Destiny 2 will not be on Steam.
According to the Twitter post made by Bungie’s community manager, David “Deej” Dague, the appearance of the Silver on Steam was a mistake. He continued that the company, Valve, is already working on reimbursing customers and apologized for the incident. Then he added that they have no plans of releasing the game on Steam.
Destiny 2 is slated to launch this September 6 on both PS4 and Xbox One while the PC version will be on October 24.
