Reports say the second Diablo 4 open beta has very short queue times this time around compared to the first beta test.
Diablo 4 open beta for everyone has now started and it was expected by Blizzard that the queue times will be long and the traffic will be quite bad. It is the start of a test that will be available to everyone compared to the first one which only a select few could have tried out. Surprisingly though, those predictions did not come true and the developers are quite happy.
In the early access beta, the queue times were as long as 2-3 hours, but this is not the case for the new open beta. Players have just waited in queue for only 60-75 minutes at max. Others were able to log in quite quickly and it seems to worst have come to pass.
There are still some issues though even if the queue times are shorter. Some have reported that they are missing skills bars, super random game crashes, disconnections, RAM usage issues, and more. Blizzard is already monitoring the situation and are working on some fixes.
Diablo 4 launches on June 6, 2023 for PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
