Fallout 5 Coming After The Elder Scrolls 6 Confirmed by Todd Howard

It's gonna take a while before its release.

Todd Howard, the big exec at Bethesda, has recently confirmed in an interview that Fallout 5 is coming after one title gets launched.

In an interview with media outlet IGN, Howard shared some details of what Bethesda is planning next once the new IP, Starfield, is finally launched:

“Yes, Elder Scrolls 6 is in pre-production and, you know, we’re going to be doing Fallout 5 after that, so our slate’s pretty full going forward for a while,” said Howard. “We have some other projects that we look at from time to time as well.”

Howard Confirms Sequel’s Existence Before

According to IGN, Howard had told them the studio already has an idea for Fallout 5 in place. He says that Fallout is already a “part of their DNA”. He also mentions that they have worked with other developers from time to time and they have a one-pager on Fallout 5 that includes what they want to do with the upcoming title. At that time, he did not confirm that it will be coming out AFTER The Elder Scrolls 6.

Frustrated of Slow Releases

Howard does acknowledge that frustrations of the fans of the long wait for their favorite games as he is also that frustrated. He knows that it takes a long while and he wishes they could come out faster, but they are trying as hard as they can to make that happen. They also want it to be the best as they can be for everybody so it will take time to get released.

Fallout 5 just got confirmed.
