Square Enix has recently announced the official Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Series PS4 and Switch release date.
The beloved Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster Series, which was previously only available on Steam and mobile platforms, is now launching digitally for PS4 and Nintendo Switch on April 19, 2023. The Pixel Remaster Series includes titles from Final Fantasy I through Final Fantasy VI and it comes with quality-of-life upgrades while staying faithful to the retro design.
The PS4 and Switch versions will have the same features as the previous like the option to switch between the rearranged and original-based soundtrack for the game. Also, the most awaited and most-wanted feature for the game: a choice for in-game fonts where they can opt to play using the game’s default font or the pixel-based font. Switch players can expect additional boost features to expand gameplay options, including switching off random encounters and adjusting experience gained multipliers between 0 and 4.
Players can buy all six titles in the new Pixel Remaster Series as a complete bundle or individually from the PlayStation Store or the Nintendo eShop. Buy the game by May 25, 2023 to receive two themed Wallpapers based on the individual games purchased from the Pixel Remaster Series. Buying the whole series to receive all 12 themed Wallpapers.
Buy the game on PS4 between April 19, 2023 and May 25, 2023 to get a Theme and Avatar according to the individual games purchased from the series. Buy the whole series to receive a total of six Themes and six Avatars.
