Nintendo has recently revealed new details about the Fire Emblem Engage bulletin board and its uses.
In Fire Emblem Engage, players have a central hub called Somniel, a flying castle. In this hub, players are able to do various activities like upgrading, buying equipment, and more. Today, the Bulletin Board was introduced. According to Siliconera’s translation, this area lets players access different features or check out achievements. This is also they can do a new activity that previous Fire Emblems games have not done yet: investment.
Players are able to invest money in various countries in the lands of Elyos. After gaining a certain level, they will get gifts of gratitude, which could include ingredients, weapon materials, and more. Fighting in countries that have a high investment level will net players more gold and experience. They can even encounter very rare enemies that could yield some rare weapons and equipment.
Aside from investment, the Bulletin Board allows players to teleport around the hub. This can be achieved with the main menu, but the Bulletin Board has various options to use.
Players can check out their achievements and also the requirements on what they need to uncover. Getting to unlock these achievements will grant them Bond Shards. No word yet on how they can use the Bond Shards.
Fire Emblem Engage is currently in development and will be released on Nintendo Switch on January 20, 2023.
