Front Mission 2 Remake Release Date Officially Revealed

Square Enix and Forever Entertainment have officially revealed Front Mission 2 Remake release date.

Front Mission 2 Remake will be launching on June 12, 2023 for the Nintendo Switch. Just like the first game, this will be the first time Front Mission 2 will be available outside of Japan launched originally in 1997. The remake was first announced last year with screenshots released at a later date. The best news was the confirmation of the Front Mission 3 remake, but it did not have a release window.

Aside from the announcement, a new trailer was also released. It gives a short preview of the gameplay and some cutscenes.

Front Mission 2 Remake story takes place 12 years after the first game. There are new protagonists named Ash, Lisa, and Thomas who are trying to flee from The People’s Republic of Aldoresh after it got destabilized by a military coup. They then uncover a conspiracy behind the uprising.
