HoYoVerse officially confirms there will be two new characters and they will join the Genshin Impact 3.4 banners.
After much speculation online, the next two new characters finally got confirmed. Alhaitham and Yaoyao are now confirmed and will be added to the Genshin Impact 3.4 banners. There are other characters that will be available to wish too, which are reruns of Xiao, Hu Tao, and Yelan.
Alhaitham is now a playable 5-star sword wielder. After his impressive appearance in the Sumeru main storyline, his addition in 3.4 update is a long time coming. He is described as a rational and intelligent Scribe of the Akademiya. In combat, he can create Chisel-Light Mirrors to convert his attacks into Dendro Damage, unleash coordinated attacks, and increase the damage dealt by his Elemental Burst to make combat easier.
Yaoayo is an endearing child from Liyue and can be recruited as a four-star character. She uses a polearm and uses the adeptus-crafted device called Yuegui which deals more damage or heal her teammates. She also has a bonus that allows her to approach creatures and not spook them.
Alhaitham, Yaoayo, and Xiao will be available during the first half of Version 3.4’s Event Wishes. The latter half will feature reruns of Hu Tao and Yelan.
